M.E.  Classifies Death of U.H. Football Player Accidental

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office has classified the death of University of Hawaii football player Jack Willis Wilson III as accidental due to drowning. Wilson's body was recovered in waters off Sandy Beach November 30, after he was reported missing at 4:30 a.m.  His body was found at 8 a.m.  The 21-year-old Wilson was among a group of three men and two women wading in shallow water, when his friends noticed him missing. He was born in Pearl City and raised in Washington state. He was a walk-on running back at the University of Washington for three years before transferring to U.H. this past summer.
