Police Search for Suspects in Deadly Waipahu Stabbing

Police say they are looking for two suspects in a stabbing Sunday night.  The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office identified the 42-year-old Waipahu man who died of apparent stab wounds Sunday night as 42-year-old Marlo G. Basuel.  He died from blood loss due to the stab wounds to his torso.  Basuel was taken by paramedics from a home on Kahuanani Street just before 10 p.m. to a hospital in extremely critical condition. He died at the hospital.  Homicide detectives have opened a murder investigation and have interviewed one suspect so far, but no arrests have been made.
