Thousands Expected at Magic Island Fireworks Show

If you're planning on watching the fireworks display at Magic Island tomorrow night, there are some rules.   Alcohol, pets, and firecrackers are all prohibited.  You can stay overnight tonight to reserve a spot, but only two people will be allowed under a canopy, not a tent. All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot at 10 tonight and it will open again at 4 a.m. tomorrow for 4th of July revelers.  Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can't reserve stalls. Citations will be issued to rule-breakers. Violators could dish out anywhere from $35 to $2,000, depending on the citation. And, when the party's over, you're expected to clean up after yourself.
