UH Football Game Will Benefit Typhoon Haiyam Victims

More relief is in store for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Governor Neil Abercrombie announced yesterday that ticket sales for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior's final home game of the season will benefit Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts in the Philippines. Every ticket sold now until the November 30 UH vs. Army game will be matched by a $5 donation to the Filipino Community Center's Aloha for Philippines fund, with a maximum donation of $20,000  The money will come from anonymous  U-H supporters. All seats for the game, which is Military and Senior Night, are currently 50 percent off the regular price.
