Visitor Arrivals & Spending Increase in June

Visitor arrivals and spending were both up during June.  The number of tourists increased 5.5 percent over the same month last year. The Hawaii Tourism Authority released numbers today revealing visitor spending increased 7 percent during June.  Visitors spent $1.31 billion compared with $1.22 billion in June a year ago.  All major markets showed gains in visitor arrivals, except the U.S. East.
